The Hierarchy of Controls is a risk management tool used around the world to manage workplace hazards. The course notes the differences in the hierarchy between the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Safe Work Australia.

This course encourages the use of the highest level of control that is practicable. At all times, where practicable you must eliminate the risk. The course unpicks the levels of the hierarchy pyramid and provides practical examples of each stage.
