Work Health and Safety legal obligations require you to assess and control psychosocial risks in the workplace associated with psychological injury. The purpose of a risk assessment is to eliminate risks where you can or control them when you can’t.
This course teaches you how to identify psychosocial hazards and assess the risks according to the likelihood of harm, determine the best control measures based on the hierarchy of controls and review their appropriateness over time.

- Learn how to assess the level of psychological risk that may harm employees, contractors, visitors or members of the public.

- Learn about the impact of job demand, supervision, change, recognition and reward, and organisational justice and fairness.
- Understand the hierarchy of controls and use the highest level of control that is practicable to still complete the job.
