This toolbox session discusses how to protect yourself and others from the risks associated with the transfer of dust from the workplace to other areas for example, lunchrooms, vehicles and your home. It is useful for workers exposed to silica dust and products and processes that generate dust, for example, engineered stone.
Learning Outcomes:
At the completion of this course, learners will:
- Learn how to remove dust contamination from clothing, PPE and a person’s body and hair.
- Understand the need to frequently clean clothes and uniforms that have contact with dust.
- Understand the importance of separating and separately washing dusty clothing.
