This toolbox session discusses the safe use of trailers. It trains how to safely connect the trailer to the tow bar on the back of a vehicle.

Learning Outcomes:

At the completion of this course, learners will:

  1. Learn the importance of chocking the wheels of the trailer before connecting to a vehicle’s tow ball.
  2. Learn why they should attach the trailer’s “D” shackle and chains to the vehicle.
  3. Understand how to ensure that the trailer lights are working correctly.
